Kid Christos (Flexipop! 14, January 1982) was a take on Hollywood boxing movies of the 1940s and 50s. Blue Rondo a la Turk discarded their New Romantic apparel and donned gangster garb to make the story look as authentic as possible. The end result was a triumph of style over substance.
