In John Lydon’s revealing Working Week, he admitted being addicted to tea – drinking over 18 cups a day - and TV (his favourite programme was Crossroads). John hated living at his own place because, ‘It’s morbid and I can’t bear it.’ He also said his favourite film was The Lion In Winter because it reminded him of his own family.

Another big tea drinker was Marc Almond who had at least three cups in the morning with his fry up. A highlight of his week was bumping into Siouxsie at a leather shop in Kings Road. ‘I’ve always been a Siouxsie fan.’ The minutiae of the Working Weeks helped the reader to gain a better understanding of their idol – Marc’s shopping list included Weetabix, chocolate chip cookies, savoury rice and Tetley tea bags and he did the housework while listening to the Supremes.

Martin Fry liked his Frosties in the morning after going for a swim. Poison Arrow had just been released and he wanted nothing more than to hear it on Coronation Street. ‘I’d like Brian and Gail to have a copy or for it to be sold in The Cabin.’ He also reckons his home town of Sheffield is, ‘maybe the best place in the world.’
